Following a message from Graham which was circulated to the members the Trust can announce that the new PMRG home is complete and has been given local authority approval for occupation. Following extensive work on the building electrics by Bob Scales and others the electrics were signed off a few days ago. As part of the electrical activity a new electrical power system for the Trust site has replaced the ageing generators with solar panels and a new standby generator. It is expected that the solar panels will reduce fuel costs and be powerful enough to run the electrical needs of the new PMRG building plus other items without the use of the generator. Special thanks to Phil Newman & John Curtis for all their work in getting the new facility up and running.
In addition to the electrical work the entrance to the new building has been enhanced with a block work paved area. Thank to Sandy and Clive for all their hard work.
