We are delighted to say that our model railway group, Perth and District Model Railway Group (PMRG) have added another trophy to their collection! This time taking “Best in Show, as voted for by the public” award at Falkirk’s recent model rail show.
We exhibited Calla Fountain Crossing, a relatively new N gauge layout depicting a north American mountainside. A lot of different people have contributed to the layout; for the modeling, electrics, the backdrop, and everything else needed to create an exhibition layout. This award was a pleasure for the group to receive after so many hours working on the set.
Huge congratulations to the other award winners as well, all thoroughly well deserved and special thanks to Falkirk MRC for having us for the weekend and hosting an excellent exhibition.
The next exhibit we’ll be attending is the Paisley Model Railway Show 7/8th December 2024, at The Paisley Centre. We’ll be taking our Almond Bridge layout.
